- Basics - footwork, weapon handling and striking mechanics
- Shield use and defensive positioning
- Tactical drills — reading opponents and creating openings
- The Eights, Bridge, Triangle, 1v1s, Laddger, etc...
Development
- Physical conditioning alongside technical skill
- Fighting fitness — endurance, strength, reaction time
- Tactical awareness in both solo and group contexts
- Mental composure under pressure
