Progression

  • Basics - footwork, weapon handling and striking mechanics
  • Shield use and defensive positioning
  • Tactical drills — reading opponents and creating openings
  • The Eights, Bridge, Triangle, 1v1s, Laddger, etc...

Development

  • Physical conditioning alongside technical skill
  • Fighting fitness — endurance, strength, reaction time
  • Tactical awareness in both solo and group contexts
  • Mental composure under pressure
